Terms of sale
Effective September 19, 2026. These are the default Terms of Sale for S&S Heritage Vault LLC. By using this website, placing an order, picking up goods, or selling items to this shop, you agree to them.
1. Who we are and what we sell
S&S Heritage Vault LLC sells and may buy physical coins, paper money, gold, silver, platinum, palladium, jewelry, and related collectibles. This shop does not sell digital assets. Spot, “live metal,” and catalog prices are information for a coin and bullion shop — not trading advice.
These terms cover this ExtraCoins website, in-store sales, pickup of web orders, sales at coin shows when we identify as this shop, and purchases we make from the public.
2. Agreement; age
If you do not agree, do not use the site and do not complete a sale. You must be 18 or older. If you buy or sell for a business, you have authority to bind that business.
3. Quotes, live metal, and market risk — no market-loss returns
Gold, silver, platinum, and palladium move. A price on the site, a phone quote, a text, or a cart total is not a firm offer until we accept payment and confirm the order (or, in person, until we take payment and hand you the goods).
- Dynamic / live-metal listings track spot plus this shop’s premium. The amount due can change until payment clears.
- A posted or quoted price may be withdrawn if metal moves, inventory is gone, or we find an error.
- You may not return, reverse, charge back, or refuse goods because metal went down after you bought, or up after you sold to us. That is ordinary market risk in this trade. We do not insure your metal position.
- Phone and show quotes expire when we say they expire — if we do not say, they expire when you leave the conversation or the same business day, whichever is first.
4. Errors and obvious mispricing
We may cancel or reprice an order if the price is a clear error (wrong decimal, wrong premium, wrong weight, wrong quantity, or a price no reasonable dealer would intend). If we already took payment, we refund the method we can refund and do not owe consequential damages, lost metal, or “the deal.”
5. Orders, inventory, and acceptance
Listing an item does not guarantee it is still in the case. We may refuse or cancel any order, including suspected fraud, resale abuse, or payment risk. Title stays with S&S Heritage Vault LLC until we receive good funds and we release the goods (hand-off at pickup or delivery to the carrier).
If an item is sold before your payment clears, we may substitute equal metal by weight and fineness where the listing was generic bullion, or cancel and refund. We do not owe a specific coin, date, mint, or slab unless the listing identified that piece.
6. Payment — good funds only
You will pay with a method we show at checkout or at the counter. We may refuse a method at any time.
- Cards. Authorization is not payment. We may delay shipping or pickup until the charge settles. We may ask for ID that matches the card. We may cancel if the issuer declines, flags, or later reverses the payment.
- PayPal and similar. Opening a “not as described,” “unauthorized,” or “item not received” claim after you collected the goods, or after tracking shows delivery, is a breach. You agree we may submit proof of delivery, pickup signature, photos, and these terms to the processor.
- Zelle, bank wire, ACH credit, cashier’s check. Goods do not leave until funds are in our account and we are satisfied they will not be recalled. Same-day wires can still be delayed by your bank. We are not responsible for your bank’s fees or cut-off times.
- Cash. We may require government ID, may refuse large cash, and may file any report the law requires. We do not take cash we believe is structured to avoid reporting.
- Failed, NSF, stopped, recalled, or reversed payments. The sale is void. Goods remain ours. If you already have the goods, you hold them in trust for us and must return them at your expense the same or next business day. If you do not, you owe the greater of the invoice or replacement cost at then-current dealer ask, plus our reasonable recovery costs.
7. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Precious metals and numismatic items are not “impulse retail.” By paying, you confirm you understand all-sales-final and market risk.
- A chargeback, retrieval, PayPal dispute, or similar for buyer’s remorse, metal price change, “I found it cheaper,” or “I changed my mind” is a material breach.
- If you received the goods (pickup, signature, or carrier scan to your address), you agree the transaction was authorized and the goods were delivered.
- If a chargeback or claim is filed, you owe the invoice, our processor fees, replacement metal at then-current cost if we must cover the position, and reasonable collection costs. We may report the debt and refuse future business.
- We may photograph, weigh, and note serials, cert numbers, and bag seals at sale. Those records are evidence.
8. Pickup
Pickup is only during posted hours, or by appointment if that is how this shop works. Bring the order ID and a matching ID. Inspect the goods at the counter before you leave. Walking out with the goods is acceptance. We do not reopen a completed pickup because metal moved later that day.
9. Shipping
We ship only when the listing and checkout offer shipping. Risk of loss passes to you when we hand the package to the carrier, except where the law of Wisconsin requires otherwise. Use a deliverable address. Signature and insurance, when offered, are for your protection — declining them is your risk. We are not liable for carrier delay, weather, or theft after delivery scan. Refused or undeliverable packages may be resold; you remain responsible for outbound shipping and any loss if metal moved.
10. All sales final; limited shop-error only
All sales of coins, bullion, jewelry, and collectibles are final. We do not accept returns because you no longer want the item, need cash, or lost money on metal.
The only exception is a documented error by this shop (wrong item shipped, or a sealed product we sold as new that is factory-defective), and only if you contact us in writing within five (5) days of delivery or pickup, keep the item unaltered, and get our written approval before sending anything back. Graded coins in cracked, scratched, or retaped holders are not returnable. Opened mint packaging, dumped tubes, and mixed lots are not returnable. Any approved return is at our option: replacement, store credit, or refund of the price you paid — not later spot.
11. Descriptions, photos, and grades
Photos are of the type or of a representative piece unless we say “the coin pictured.” Color, tone, and screen brightness vary. Independent grading (PCGS, NGC, and others) is that service’s opinion, not a warranty by us. We do not guarantee future grade, CAC sticker, or resale at Gray Sheet, CDN, or any published bid.
12. Weight, purity, and testing
For bullion and melt, our scale, assay, and testing at the counter control. Posted weights are approximate until we weigh. We may reject or reprice plated, filled, tungsten-cored, or otherwise not-as-represented metal. Numismatic value, if any, is in addition to melt and is our judgment unless the listing is a named collectible coin.
13. When you sell to us
A buy quote is not a contract until we pay you and take the goods. We may test, weigh, and refuse any item. You warrant that you own the items free of liens, that they are genuine, and that you are not selling stolen or altered pieces. If an item is later determined counterfeit, stolen, or not as you represented, you must repay what we paid plus our costs, and we may hold the items for law enforcement. We may require ID on purchases from the public. We do not pay for items we reasonably believe are being sold to launder funds.
14. Tax and reporting
You are responsible for any sales or use tax the law requires us to collect. We may issue tax forms or file reports when the law requires, including large cash transactions. We do not give tax, investment, or legal advice. Buying metal is not a bank deposit and is not insured by FDIC or SIPC.
15. Website, accounts, and acceptable use
Do not scrape, attack, or overload the site. Do not create accounts to abuse coupons, maps, or checkout. We may close an account that poses fraud or chargeback risk. Content on the site is for shopping this inventory — not for republication as your catalog.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law of Wisconsin allows, S&S Heritage Vault LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, lost profit, lost metal appreciation, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid us for that item. For a sale you made to us, our total liability is limited to the amount we paid you for those items.
17. Indemnity
You will indemnify S&S Heritage Vault LLC and its owners and staff against claims, chargebacks, and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) that arise from your breach of these terms, your payment dispute, or your delivery of stolen, counterfeit, or misrepresented goods.
18. Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or failure caused by market outages, carrier failure, utility failure, weather, illness, civic unrest, or other events beyond a reasonable dealer’s control. Metal markets can close or gap; we may suspend live-metal checkout when feeds or markets are not reliable.
19. Changes
We may update these terms. The date above is the current version. New terms apply to orders and visits after they are posted. Custom terms you paste on ExtraCoins website replace this default for this shop only.
20. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts sitting in Wisconsin, except that we may seek return of goods or unpaid invoices in any court that can reach you.
Questions: contact this shop. These default terms are a working shop policy, not a substitute for advice from this shop’s own lawyer.
